VirusTotal upload utility
With Ask
VT you can check files, folders and apps for malware using the
online service VirusTotal (https://www.virustotal.com).
VirusTotal is a free service from Google that scans files with a
variety of virus scanners. You can drag the objects to be
checked on the Ask VT window, drag them on the dock icon, open
it via the menu bar or open it in the software via the Finder
context menu of the object or via the clipboard.
This app is freeware. It comes with
absolutely no warranty. Use it at your own risk.
Ask VT
does neither collect nor store any private data. But of course,
virustotal.com will store the files that you upload and the URLs
that you share.
